August 29, 2019

Ph.D. Candidate Camrynn “Cammie” Fausey recently won 3rd place in the Perfect Pitch competition put on by the NSF’s Nanosystems Engineering Research Center for Nanotechnology-Enabled Water Treatment (NEWT). A panel of judges (four leaders of start-up companies in the water industry) selected Cammie based on her 90 second platform presentation of graphene oxide-titanium-dioxide-enabled nanofibers, a technology she recently designed for arsenic removal from drinking water.
